Fab First Lady Michelle Obama is gracing the December issue of Glamour magazine! Looking lovely in red, she gives *expert* dating advice, and style advice. And who else to accept dating advice from, after all she snagged the most eligible bachelor years before he became our President!
On dating, and not going for the cute guy:
“Cute’s good. But cute only lasts for so long, and then it’s, Who are you as a person? Don’t look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul … When you’re dating a man, you should always feel good … You shouldn’t be in a relationship with somebody who doesn’t make you completely happy and make you feel whole.”
On her style standards:
“People are always going to have opinions, and people have a right to their opinions, particularly when you’re the First Lady; you’re representing the nation. So I can’t be surprised that people are interested. But I’ve tried to be at peace with the choices that I make first, and then be open to everyone else’s reflection.”
Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is beautiful on the inside, and her passion to work with her husband to make this world a better place- literally- is something to admire and look up to. Never has a first lady (arguably since Jacqueline Kennedy) been so active in the bringing together and restoration of peace in nations outside of their own. Her passion for children, mentoring and empowering young girls and women forces us all to take a look within ourselves and make a difference. So with her being beautiful, super fly, and inspiring it leaves you wondering- who’s the lucky one? Her or Barack Obama?
Looking lovely First Lady!
