I am a bargain shopper. The type that never buys anything until I have exhausted all of my resources while trying to find it at a cheaper price. While doing some online shopping, I noticed that two retailers are selling the exact same dresses, but at two different prices.
ArdenB.com has this Taffeta Shine Bow Tube Dress for $78:
Forever21.com has this Couture Bow Sheen Dress for $29.80:
I think it is amazing how Arden B. can sell the exact same dress as Forever 21, but for almost $50 more. They are really trying to get over on their customers. Needless to say, I will be buying the Forever 21 dress. Would you purchase a dress for $78 when you can buy it for $29.80?

Who ROCKED IT?
For this edition of Who ROCKED IT, we have reality star, Kristin Cavallari vs. the diva, Beyonce:
Beyonce was first spotted, back in August at the press conference for Jay-Z’s 9/11 benefit concert @ MSG, rocking this 3.1 Phillip Lim zipper skirt from the Spring 2009 collection. She wore it with a simple black tank and a black and gold belt. While “The Hills” star, Kristin, wore the zipper skirt last week while attending Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party. She paired the skirt with a Dolce & Gabbana bustier and a black belt.
I’m actually torn between the two outfits. So what do you think? Who ROCKED IT?

The red carpet for last night’s American Music Awards was just like the show– overall boring, with a few good moments. Emphasis on few. For the looks I didn’t like or thought was mediocre, I made over. Y’all know how I feel about solutions: if you don’t have a solution to the problem, don’t complain about it. Simple.
I never thought I would have to do this with my girl Rih Rih! But this Marchesa rosette cut-out dress was wrong (sorry Mariel). For her fix, I chose a dress from the same Marchesa Spring 2010 collection. This strapless short dress, with sculpted bust and waist detail would have looked stunning on Rihanna! And the white fabric dripping would have given her the spunk she goes for all the time. Yes!
While the Versace dress Shakira rocked was cute, flirty and sexy, I am tired of this look on Shakira! Every awards show, it never fails, the same strapless mini dress, just in a different color. I chose this Roberto Cavalli Eyelet-Embellished Dress for her because it was sexy, funky, but still fresh and new. With the cutout neck, asymmetric peaked hem at front, and diagonal pleat seam, Shakira would have successfully pulled off the same look she was going for with this mini dress- just better! She could throw these on with thigh high boots for an even sexier look, or rock pumps to keep the focus on the dress!
I never want to take someone out of their element. Obviously Kelly Clarkson was going for the in-season sequined/embellishment trend, she just went about it the wrong way. Looks like her grandma made it for her, and she didn’t want to tell her no. To fix this I chose this 3.1 Phillip Lim Sequined Silk Wrap Dress, which is still fun and young, but still conservative in a way. This dress would have also flattered her body better, as opposed to highlighting where she is more *voluptuous*. She could have paired this with a pair of black pumps, even the pumps she wore with her dress!

While I missed the red carpet coverage, I did tune into the show, which for the most part flopped this year. My highlights we’re definitely Jay-Z & Alicia Keys‘ performance of “Empire State Of Mind”, Whitney Houston’s performance of “I Didn’t Know My Strength”, Black Eyed Peas‘ performance, Rihanna’s performance, and Janet Jackson’s medley. Adam Lambert had my mouth open throughout his whole performance (whoa!) But for the most part, I was disappointed. WTF was J. Lo doing anyway? Boo! Anywho, just when I thought the red carpet would cheer me up, that slightly disappointed too:
Fergie Fer sparkled in a strapless Girogio Armani dress, giving us a little leg action. Love this edgy, but still simplistic look on her. HIT
Shakira rocked this Versace mini-dress, but kept the accessories to a minimum. I would loved to see her up the jewelry factor. Still a cute look for her though. HIT
Rihanna rocked a carefully constructed Marchesa dress. Not liking this look… at all! I usually love Rih Rih’s red carpet looks, or any looks, but this was a MISS for me. Womp.
Alicia Keys looked gorgeous(!!!) in this multi-colored, beaded detail strapless Giorgio Armani dress. She chose to match her shoes with her dress (tricky!) with these Christian Louboutin sandals. HIT
My fellow Aries, Leona Lewis, bored me- per usual. She rocked this black Vivienne Westwood dress with double hemline and pointy bustline. Not liking this. It probably could have worked on someone else. MISS
Country cute Carrie Underwood looked plain old fab in this Theia dress. I really like this look on her. HIT

He has extended his 15 minutes of fame into a soon-to-be lifetime of design. After debuting his first collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in Fall 2008, to rave reviews, he has been continuous with the hits! And in a frugalista’s dream collaboration, he turned heads when he brought his fierce footwear to save-savvy retailer, Payless Shoe Source.

Rodarte Vagina High Boots
They’re all the rage in Paris! For the Fall 2009 season, designers have come together to agree that the thigh-high boot is definitely a go! But wait, how high are we talking? Vagina high! 2 inches above the knee is so 10 years ago! What is this? 1999?
The boots, which was designed in collaboration with shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood, comes in 2 colors (gray & black). It comes equipped with an elastic top, and sexy straps crawling all the way up your thigh. It’s no wonder these shoes are the weapons of choice for vixen’s like Cassie & Amerie:
The shoes are hitting for $3,685, and are only sold at Dover Street Market in London (yikes!) But I’m guessing if you have $3,685 to drop on a pair of boots, a $500+ plane ticket to cross the pond to get them is nothing… right? The one of a kind construction and style makes it a hard act to follow, and even harder style to duplicate. While there are many boots on the market with criss-cross straps, very few of them (almost none) are thigh high, an annihilates the game like these.
The ‘Vagina High’ boots. It’s an epidemic.

Super duper model Heidi “The Body” Klum, who is known for snapping back after having a baby, couldn’t seem to pull it together this time:
Heidi, who just had her 4th child, has opted to not hit the gym to snap back in time to hit the runway for the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show that just happened. And while she says she is comfortable with her curves, she still wants to lose 20 lbs.
*sigh* This is exactly what is wrong with society today. For young girls who look at Heidi as this beautiful woman who has it all, and has a great body, I feel as if this a slap in their face. The modeling industry has come under fire plenty of times for the weight of models, and the way women are portrayed as it pertains to size. For years, unrealistic images have plagued the pages of magazines, and skinnier than life models have stomped the most prestigious runways.
